A talk with Dr. Allison Roda, author of Inequality in Gifted and Talented Programs (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015)

The conversation will address:
- The history of gifted programs in education
- Roda’s interviews with parents across NYC in gifted and general education programs
- Alternative models to gifted programs

Dr. Allison Roda is an assistant professor of education at Molloy College and a research consultant at the Center for Diversity and Equality in Education (CDEE) at Rutgers University-Newark.
