Please consider joining the Champlain Area NAACP with an annual membership of $30, a life time membership donation of $750 or a donation of your choosing which will be utilized in our community and mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.
THE CHAMPLAIN AREA NAACP CHAPTER IS VERMONT’S FIRST NAACP CHAPTER FOUNDED IN 2015 IN THE CHAMPLAIN AREA!Burlington, VT on June 9, 2015 We are thrilled to announce the founding of the NAACP’s newest chapter in the nation, and first in the state of Vermont. The Champlain Area NAACP members meet on the 3nd Tuesday of the month and meetings are open to the public. The organization is enthusiastically seeking new members to join and help us further our work. Below you will find our organization’s mission, vision, and objective statements. It is our hope that community members who feel passionate about our commitments will support us by purchasing a annual membership for $30 or a life membership for a donation of $750. Through active engagement and advocacy alongside us. Becoming a member provides you with a vote and ensures your voice will be heard. We warmly invite you to join us at one of our public meetings to learn more and to engage in the way that works best for you.
