Event description
Hearing aids are not one size fits all. Two different people with identical hearing losses can have drastically different listening experiences with the same hearing aid. Dr. Christi Miller and Dr. Kelly Tremblay, both researchers and professors at the University of Washington, will help explain this phenomenon with a close examination of the technology behind hearing aids and the way our brains work. They will also discuss some of the cutting-edge research on hearing loss treatment that is underway in their labs.
