Event description
The second annual lectureship in honor of Samuel Barondes will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. in Byers Auditorium on the UCSF Mission Bay campus. Following a live jazz performance by the Jay Stapleton Quartet, Dr. Bargmann will deliver a talk covering her research entitled, "Organizing Behavior Across Timescales." The event will be followed by a reception for attendees.

CME credits are not available for this event.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
In addition to private transportation options, UCSF Mission Bay is served by the SF Muni T-Third Street light rail line and several UCSF Shuttle lines. More information can be found at on the Campus Life Services website.
Hourly street parking is available in the area surrounding campus. Covered parking is available at three UCSF parking garages for an hourly rate.
Who can attend and what is the cost?
This event is free and open to the public. Please note that the content of the lecture and discussion will be geared primarily towards mental health professionals, physicians, and biomedical scientists.
Will walk-ins be accepted?
If we have room available on the day of the event, we will be happy to accept walk-ins. However, we strongly suggest you reserve a seat by registering ahead of time.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We encourage you to bring your ticket or confirmation (either printed or saved on a mobile device) to the event. Otherwise, we may have to verify your reservation manually at the door.
