S.M.A.R.T. Goals for Upcoming School Year

Attendance– My goal is to not be tardy for class or miss more than 1days a month throughout this new school year. I have communicated with my parents the importance of meeting my attendance goal for this upcoming school year. I have set a goal with my parents’ permission not to miss more than 1day a month starting this upcoming school year. This will teach dedication, willingness to meet your goal and the application of creating, aligning and completing my long-term goals.
Behavior– My goal for the remainder of the year is not to have more than 1infraction as it pertains to poor behavior. I am learning ways to deal with peer pressure, seeking ***** help and making better decisions as a leader that further aligns with my long-term goal of graduating high school.
Standardized Testing– My goal is to increase my standardize test score by 25%from the previous school year. I understand that grades are important, however standardized testing are a standard for all students in my grade. I want to see how smart or how well I have outworked my peers or identify early indicators of my weaknesses.
Activities– I will participate in at least (1) new activity at school or outside of school that will allow me to network with others, who are likeminded in what activity I like. This will expose me to different cultures or simply aligning with like-minded individuals.
Helping Others– I will volunteer at school as a minimum oncea month by helping my teacher or other students. This will further teach me the importance of helping others.
Counselor/Principle– I will meet with my counselor/principle once a month to ensure that I am aligned with meeting my goals. I will further ask if there are any additional programs within the school/outside the school that will further align with my future goal of graduating high school while doing my very best.
