Event description
Dear EMBAs,
This hard-hitting 3-hour session will not be for the faint-hearted.  Blue books will be provided and a hot breakfast too since we will all need to be fortified for this session.
We start with a famous Langdana Lighting Review, and then we go into three topics:
(1) The Poison Pill.  What is/was "Reaganomics" and did Trump's attempts at it succeed or fail, and why?  And what is this Poison Pill that seems to be getting more and more attention lately?
(2) The Trump Bump.  Is the euphoria following the Trump tax cuts and the deregulation, now gone?  If so, now what if the Trump Bump is over?  And why is the yield curve stressing us out?
(3)  Finally, we do "deep clicks" into the latest convolution pertaining to the Trade War.  By January 26, there will be different drama, for sure.  Forget Trade theory, forget The Art of the Deal; the Chinese have lost ****, and Trump has no idea what that means.  And David Ricardo is spinning in his grave.
8:00-9:00 AM      Networking Breakfast
