Motor City Brew Tours Presents: 2-Day Grand Rapids Bike & Brew Tour - July 13-14, 2019
Enjoy a bike ride to multiple breweries on paved rail-trails, sidewalks and back roads of Grand Rapids in the summer! We have created a custom 2-day Bike & Brew Tour that takes advantage of the vast system of trails in the southern end of Grand Rapids. Each of the two days, we will bike from the hotel to multiple breweries to enjoy beer, food and each others company.
Tickets - $80Frequently Asked Questions:What is included with my ticket on this bike ride? Every paid ***** ticket includes a guided 2-day bike ride to multiple breweries stops, first beer and lunch both days, MCBT gift and brewery tours at select stops. We will bike to E&B Coffee & Pub in Caledonia, Railtown Brewing in Dutton, White Flame Brewing/Pike 51 Winery & Brewery in Hudsonville and Osgood Brewing in Grandville. We picked places that serve more than beer, so there should be something for everybody!
What is not included? The hotel room is not included in the cost of the ticket. You can stay at the Hyatt Place Hotel for Fri and/or Sat night or pick another hotel option in the area. The Hyatt Place hotel is located directly off M-6 highway and the M-6 paved  bike trail. We will utilize the M-6 trail for both days of our bike ride. We will have post-ride brewery options available to you within a short drive of the hotel on Friday and Saturday evening.
How do I book the hotel room? Call the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids-South - 616-724-1234 - on Click on this link -  book a room. They have very reasonable rates starting at: $130 w/breakfast + taxes.

How far do we bike and is it hard? The bike tour route is around 32 miles on day 1 and 25 miles on day 2. The route has some moderate inclines on day 1, but is fairly flat on day 2. We will ride on the multiple paved rail-trails including the M-6 trail, Thornapple Trail, Kent Trail, Fred Kenowa Trail and side walks and paved back-roads. You need to be a moderate bike rider. This isn't a beginner type of ride. We don't plan to ride a fast pace (12-14 MPH range). If that's something that you can't do, then this ride will not be a good fit for you. This ride is limited to 25 people.
Where does the bike ride begin and where should I park? Both days of this ride will depart from and return to Hyatt Place Grand Rapids South - 2150 Metro Way, Wyoming, MI 49519. Please park in the rear of the hotel. Registration will in the parking lot and NOT in the hotel time does the bike ride start? Registration begins at 8:30 am on Saturday. We ride out at 9 am.
