9:00 AM - Groundbreaking Ceremony9:30 AM - Workday begins12:30 PM - Wrap-upPlease join us for the groundbreaking ceremony of GBC's Stanley Preserve. Be sure to wear your boots and bring your gloves because after the ceremony, we'll be clearing trails and removing Activities:Trail and fence-line clearing including brush, tree, debris removalTrash pickup at preserve entrance and along roadNo experience is necessary. Tools, gloves and other necessary equipment will be provided but you’re encouraged to bring your own gloves, saws, loppers, etc. Snacks and beverages will also be provided. Please contact Colleen, culibarri@greensbayou.org if you have a chainsaw or other equipment you're interested in bringing.

The Stanley Preserve is a 33-acre lot owned by The Coalition. The vision for the site is to be an outdoor educational space with hiking trails, an outdoor pavilion, interpretive signage, demonstration areas with a parking lot, and front entry gate. The rest of the property will be preserved as wildlife habitat.
