Following an exceptionally successful design, pilot, and roll-out with the support of HR managers and directors, Intersol are offering a one-day interactive HR workshop for managers of all levels who are given responsibility to investigate any workplace conduct issues.

Intersol are the 'masters of investigation and investigative interviewing solutions'!

Described as ‘excellent’, ‘essential’, and ‘compelling’ by managers and directors alike, the workshop is wrapped around relevant case study exercises to enrich the learning experience and is presented by world leading subject matter experts – who bring this subject alive!
What's the objective?

When dealing with disciplinary or grievance procedures, Employment tribunals expect employers to show that they have undertaken a fair and thorough process. Most employers either have an HR department to help them with this or secure the services of advisors. This makes sense as such occurrences will hopefully be rare.

However, the act of conducting an investigation related to a disciplinary matter or grievance is nearly always carried out by an in-house manager. This also makes sense, as the skills required to conduct such an investigation can easily be used when constructing bids for funding or work, streamlining your internal processes or anything where it is important that you gather information from other people.

This course provides an understanding of the legal and best practice requirements necessary to conduct an investigation and the skills required by the investigators. Delegates will learn about an approach to the handling of investigations which may be applied to a range of situations, and will take away an investigation casebook and ‘toolkit’

Effectively managing workplace investigations and interviews adds value to the business and prevents reputational damage whilst reducing risk, increasing efficiency, energising staff and improving competence.
