Event description
The Lord Stirling Theater Company presents:
“The Importance of Being Earnest”
By Oscar Wilde
Comedy, love, and trivializing social conventions made “The Importance of Being Earnest” one of Oscar Wilde’s most famous plays. In mocking tradition, Wilde’s play continues to delight audiences by demonstrating that what seems important is not really important, and that a keen eye and sharp wit can cut to the chase of many situations. Fast, witty language keeps the story moving against the prim and proper backdrop of the English countryside in the late 1800’s. This theatre classic is a gem to lighten your spirit and bring a smile to your ****.
