Event description
Matt Benkert, owner of the Hidden Hive Flower Farm in Woodstock, Illinois, will share with us the story of starting and running his flower farm to serve local markets and florists.  He is an active supporter of the slow flower movement.  He will be showing a video that describes this effort to grow flowers sustainably to deliver fresh product in the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin areas.
A short garden club business meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. with Matt's program to follow between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m.
