Event description
Is failure always bad? Is success always good? What lessons can be learned from each? Cutting edge companies and organizations all over the world are known for embracing failure as a path towards learning best practices for building knowledge on teams, but can that principle apply to the life of an individual?

So many valuable lessons in life and growth opportunities are hard-won, often coming out of the most difficult crucibles of failure or disappointment. Can success blind us to our shortcomings? What are long term consequences of that blindness, and have we ever experienced a time in life when we suddenly awaken to our character flaws? Which suffering is worse, the suffering of failure or the suffering of success?

Join us for a lively discussion about the true nature of learning and progressing in life, based on the Baha’i principles of achieving both material and spiritual progress.

“The more often the captain of a ship is in the tempest and difficult sailing the greater his knowledge becomes.” – Bahá’i Teachings
