Kinhaven Kids, come move, dance, stretch, play! During Movement Creation, Kinhaven kids will have a blast as we use a combination of dance, yoga and pure imagination to create original dance, movement stories and expressive games.  Each class will feature a brain and body warm up, gross motor exploration, locomotor and non-locomotor investigations, fun games and stories followed by a mindfulness cool down and rest. Each child will learn foundational dance concepts and build a movement vocabulary as we explore balance, energy, tempo, levels and emotion.  As our bodies learn new ways to move, we will also focus on how to calm our bodies through breath and gentle stretching. Beth Tiegs has a background in theater arts, dance and yoga.  With over 20 years of movement study, she has a passion for sharing her love of creative expression with children, including our own Seeds class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
