Feed your curiosity with The Ideas Network Explorers Club! This spring, WPR presents a new series of do-it-yourself workshops and off-the-beaten-path adventures. For its inaugural season, The Ideas Network Explorers Club will delve into the world of food preservation with Master Food Preserver Christina Ward. Ward is the author of “Preservation: The Art and Science of Canning, Fermentation and Dehydration” and is a regular guest on The Ideas Network. Click here to listen to the interviews.
Join us as we learn the proper techniques for pickling, fermenting and canning. All three hands-on classes are at the Little Red Store in Wauwatosa from 6 – 8 p.m. Class 1: Thursday,  March 21: Pickled Onions
Class 2: Thursday, April 18: Sauerkraut
Class 3: Thursday, May 16: Fruit Jam
