Event description
Dear friends, whether you are an advanced rider or a beginner, you will find an intimate space where all are welcome and where getting fit is fun. From time to time, we offer spin, yoga and pilates classes.
IndoCycle is located at 1820 Washington Road in downtown East Point--walking distance from MARTA and just adjacent to the charming Center Park neighborhood.
We first opened our doors in East Point in 2011 and remain deeply committed to being a part of the positive development and revitalization of the community.  Our new location, the 1820 Building, was an empty space for many years and is now newly renovated and ready for you to enjoy a ride with friends.  We hope to see you soon!
Registration is easy.  Please be sure to cancel your reservation if you will not be able to attend the class.  Email with any questions.  We do not accept walk-ins.
The class is donation based.  Minimum suggested amount is $5. 

Is there a minimum age requirements to enter class?
Participants must meet the following height requirement: 4' 11". If kids are going to participate in class, they must be ****** enough to follow the safety instructions of the person leading the class.  We require all participants under 16 to be accompanied by an ***** and a legal gaurdian's waiver must be kept on file. 

What should I expect from spin class?
Spin class at IndoCycle Studio is the perfect way to exercise in a fun filled supportive environment. No two classes are alike, but every class is adaptable to your individual fitness level.  Whether it's your first class or you are an avid cyclist; it's your ride!
Be sure to let your instructor know if your are taking your first class.  You must arrive 15 minutes before the start of class to recieve assistance setting up and getting used to your bike.  If you are not early to your first class, you may be asked to come back to another session.
All participants can benefit from a spin class; even if  you are not in great shape.  You can always ride at your own pace and control your own resistance.  Taking regular spin classes is a wonderful way to get in shape and reach your fitness goals.
Research indicates that on average riders burn about 400-600 calories in a 40 minute workout.  The distance traveled depends on cadence.  As an estimate, an average 40 minute class at a cadence of 80-100 rpm (revolutions per minute) is equivalent to approximately 15-20 miles on the road.

What should I wear?
Be comfortable!  That is all you need to get started.  Moisture wicking clothing is very helpful and will make your ride more comfortable.  Try to avoid "boot cut" exercise pants when you are on the bike.  Pant hems have the potential to get caught in the wheel spokes.  Safety first!

What can/must I bring to class?
Please bring a bottle of water and a towel.  We do offer complimentary towels, shoes and sell bottles of water for $1.  We do not keep cash onsite, so please bring exact change.  Socks MUST be worn with studio shoes. We do not keep socks at the studo and there will be no exception to this rule. Gym shoes are ok to wear.  We suggest you bring a pair in case we do not have your size in clip shoes.

How much does each session cost?
Unless otherwise indicated, the classes we offer are donation based. We do ask in every class that you give what you can.  We like to keep our bikes tuned and provide great instructors that must be paid.  A boutique fitness experience can be for everyone.  We provide the experience and you provide what you can to the cause.  A minimum donation of $5 is suggested.  We will move forward with this policy as long as it works!!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from class?
The studio has parking in front of the building.  There is also parking along a few steps away.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No ticket is needed for class.

Yes.  We just need to make sure we have a bike for everyone.
