EDUCATIONAL OUTCOME:
This conference will provide those attending with practical principles for implementing strategies to improve outcomes for patients experiencing post procedural pain, peripartum cardiomyopathy, sepsis and increase awareness for human trafficking.
 OBJECTIVES:

Identify current quality initiatives impacting obstetrical practice.
Understand strategies to decrease opioid use in the care of obstetrics patients.
Describe the presentation and management of Peripartum Cardiomyopathy
Discuss early interventions aimed at reducing morbidity and mortality related to sepsis and septic shock.
Develop nursing professional’s knowledge in identifying trafficked individuals in an effort to reduce missed opportunities within the healthcare setting.
