Event description

Insect and disease issues can be overwhelming even for the most seasoned gardeners. Using the best science and nature have to offer is critical for any gardener’s success when combating pesky invaders and disorders. The first step is to establish an effective Integrated Pest Management plan (IPM).
In this program, we break down complex IPM practices into actionable steps that are simple to do and create measurable results. In addition, we will discuss specific identification and control methods for 6 prevalent garden insects.
Monica Pape is the lead advisor for The Accidental Agronomist. She works with farmers giving them a better understanding of their soil tests to help them implement sensible fertilization and management plans such as IPM programs that produce higher yielding crops while saving money and being environmentally responsible.
