Artistic photography, laboratory images and facial : Dr. Marta Revilla León and Dr. Amirali ZandinejadLength course: 1 complete dayStructure of the course: 30% lecture and 70% hands on.
 This is an advanced course in photography - you must have taken the beginning or basic photography course in order to participate or provide information of your experience with photography.
Objectives of the course
The goal is to develop an advance protocol for different light sources and filters to analyze theoptical behavior of natural teeth. Furthermore, to develop a protocol for non-tooth elementsphotographs such as dental casts, diagnostic wax-ups, dental prostheses, etc. 

Content of the course:
- Introduction optical dental properties.- Filters and light sources.- Framing and composition.- Laboratory photography.- Artistic patient’s photographs for final documentation.- Digitizing patient’s **** using facial scanner.
Material needed for the course: 
It is indispensable that the participant attend the course with a digital SLR camera, macro lensand ring/twin flash. If you dint have the basic photography equipment, please contact the CEorganizer for further information.

Assistant  ProfessorAssistant Director, Advanced Education General Dentistry Program, Texas A&M University, College of Dentistry
Dr. Revilla graduated from dental school in 2004. She completed a 3-year graduate program in Aesthetic Dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid in Spain and 3-year graduate training in Prosthodontics at the University of Washington in Seattle. Before joining Texas A&M University, Dr. Revilla has been working in private practice and collaborating as an Affiliate Faculty at the Graduate Prosthodontic program at the University of Washington.  She created a research group where the main goal of the group is the validation and development of dental applications of additive manufacturing technologies. She has numerous clinical and scientific publications.  She joined Texas A&M University College of Dentistry as Assistant Program Director and Assistant Professor of AEGD residency program. 


Dr. Amirali Zandinejad
Dr. Zandinejad completed his dental training in 1996. He also completed a residency program in operative dentistry and received his Master degree in restorative dentistry from Sheffield University in the United Kingdom.He completed his AEGD residency and prosthodontic program at the Universityof Rochester in NY. He recently joined the A&M Texas University, College Dentistry as the Director of AEGD residency program. maintains his practice limited to implants, esthetic dentistry and prosthodontics.

Introducing new technique for reinforcing dental ceramic.
Infiltrating ceramic with resin and investigating the mechanical properties.
Fracture resistance of all-ceramic crowns supported by implant.
