Event description
TFA Milwaukee Alumni Week
(Re)Connecting to Our Transformational Purpose
Facilitator: Dr. Desiree Pointer Mace (Bay Area '92)
As alumni of Teach for America, we all have vivid memories of our most powerful, rewarding, and challenging moments in our classrooms. How do those insights, breakthroughs, and growth moments make themselves evident in your current work and context? In this session, Dr. Desiree Pointer Mace (Bay Area ‘92, and current professor at Alverno College, where she works with current TFA corps members) will facilitate a conversation around connecting our time in TFA to our current practice. Together, we will share the different ways in which we express our commitments to “one day.“
Light breakfast and coffee available 8:00am - 8:30am
Located in Alexia Hall, Room 209 (building 8 on the campus map) Park in Lot E.
