Please Note****Fat Girls Hiking's group hikes are open to ALL genders, ALL sizes, ALL skill levels. Please choose a hike that will meet your needs/abilities. During all of our hikes, we go at the pace of the slowest hiker (usually that's ME!) No one is left behind! We love to share our lived experiences with one another on the trail and hope to create a space where ALL feel welcome! We ask that anyone who joins our group events refrain from diet talk, body shaming or weight loss talk. We don't allow sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia or any other form of bigotry.

Land Acknowledgement: This hike takes place on the ancestral territories of the Susquehannock and Piscataway Conoy nations. Fat Girls Hiking acknowledges that our hikers may be guests, settlers & immigrants to this land. We recognize that outdoor recreation is rooted in colonialism and commit ourselves to undoing these dynamics while we’re on the trail.

Tickets: Fat Girls Hiking group hikes have limited tickets available for the safety of all participants, including our hike leaders. We have a limited amount of free tickets that are limited to 1 per person. We ask that if you are financial able to, consider making a donation to Fat Girls Hiking by purchasing a ticket to this hike. OR support the growth of FGH by donating to one of our accounts. All donations help us to sustain the Fat Girls Hiking community. Funds go toward travel expenses to create new Fat Girls Hiking chapters, to purchase hiking gear & equipment for community members and so we can offer scholarships (for events that do cost money). FGH founder, Summer, is currently working toward another On The Road trip to open more FGH chapters across North America. If you're able to donate via Go Fund Me, here's the link for Fat Girls Hiking, On The Road:
Pay Pal: fatgirlshiking@ Venmo @fatgirlshiking are other ways to donate. We thank you so much for helping us sustain this community!
