Mindfulness-in-Action focuses attention at the source of so much stress and anxiety for so many American adults:  our offices, day jobs and juggling it all as we transition home.
 
The secret to productivity today—beyond cloud computing and incredibly useful smartphones—actually lies within and between us.
Being calmer, less distracted, with an open mindset increases self-awareness. And it enhances the perspective-taking needed to effectively collaborate and get work done.

Mindfulness, then, is a force multiplier.
 
In this session you’ll explore how mindfulness can help you deal directly with digital distractions and information overload, including the seductive impossibility of multitasking.
 
You’ll learn about the science behind mindfulness. You’ll engage in practices to center your attention, focusing on what’s important. You’ll calm your central nervous system, reducing anxiety, overwhelm and burnout.
 
Mindful planning and priority setting, managing your calendars and meetings, dealing with email, text and social media will complete the session. This will free up your energies and set you on a path to be more productive and present.
You’ll leave with a Mindfulness-in-Action plan to start your new week.
