Event description
As the great Tori Telfer says, being into True Crime is like having a taste for cilantro. Some folks don't get it, but some do: you know who you are.

The killer thought he'd got them all, but one survived - to point the finger at him.
Case prosecutor William Martin and Dennis Breo, the journalist who told the story, team up for The Crime of the Century: Richard Speck and the Murders That Shocked a Nation.
All book clubs require a ticket, and include the book, snacks/bevs, and a dedicated moderator - to keep the discussion on track! All clubs meet at The Last Bookstore.
You can get your ticket one of two ways: either thru the link on this page (*we'll ship the book to you!) - OR buy your ticket in the store, just look for our book club display (near the book tunnel).
*If you choose the on-line option (the one with shipping), please send a mailing addy to -- Do not try to pick up the book in person.
Originally from London, James Bartlett is a journalist and author of the Gourmet Ghosts guides to murder, *******, and other mysteries from L.A.’s bars, hotels and restaurants. His next book investigates a murder in Alaska that ends with a cryptic ******* in Hollywood. He can be found @GourmetGhosts or on the shelf of the California section at the Last Bookstore.
