Event description
The Theme of STEPS 2019 ! We all have a story to it was that moment you first found out you were pregnant...or maybe that time your water broke in Aisle 6 of Target...or maybe when you witnessed your baby eat solids for the first time.....we all have a story or a moment that defines what parenthood is for is yours?
We are holding two storytelling workshops to help all of you learn to tell your stories. You can write them down, or say them out loud, either way they are important and we want to hear them! Come to one workshop, or come to both, it's totally up to you! All who participate will have the opportunity to submit their story to our young parent anthology, and even perform it at our annual STEPS event!
As always, we will feed you well and make sure you go home with some free giveaways to keep the creative juices flowing long after the workshop ends.
Register now, and be in touch with Monique if you have any questions: mkelly39@.

FAQs
Can I register for both event dates?
Of course! We would love to see you at both of our events! The events will be different so that folks can attend both, but it is also fine if you just attend one. It's totally up to you. If you do want to attend both please register for each one seperately so we can have an accurate RSVP count.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is plenty of parking on-site at Brookside Community Health Center. Brookside is also near the orange line (green street station) and multiple buslines that go down Washington Street.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! Please bring your kids! If you would feel more comfortable coming with a family member that is fine too!
What if I come late?

That is OK. We get that extra stuff is hard to juggle during the week. Just make sure to register, and if you are able to let us know you may be late then even better. We'd rather see you late than not at all!
What should I expect at the event?
Theresa O., Storyteller extraordinaire will lead a workshop that helps you all figure out what stories you hold inside of you that are itching to be shared! She will coach you through writing the stories down on paper, or speaking them outloud. We will serve a delicious dinner as full bellies = creative minds, and make sure that you go home with some free gifts to keep feeling inspired :)
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Monique can answer all your questions! Feel free to contact her at mkelly39@
