May is National Mental Health Awareness Month.
A part of the movement is to change how we ‘feel*’ about mental health, & that means us shifting the conversation to 1 of accountability so today rather than speaking about ‘mental health,’ we will be addressing the cycles of trauma that happens within ourselves & a solution that leads us to "Post Traumatic Growth"- a term recently introduced to us by Dr. Marisela Marrero at inter(x)latina a collaborative Storytelling Series produced by Malia Lazu & the Urban Labs & in collaboration with Betty Fransisco & Eneida Ramon of AmplifyLatinx.


We are going to pull up trauma by its root, & plant a new seed & share new research & language with knowing hope that our shadowing of mental health is pulled into a more accepting light.
We are going to be addressing some real concepts of healing & growth as we mindfully hold ourselves in postures to breathe, release & heal.

To create a stage of known worthiness as the blessings of our lives begin to evolve and expand.
