“What if this darkness is not the darkness of the tomb, but the darkness of the womb? What if our America is not dead, but a country that is waiting to be born?...”-  civil rights lawyer and Sikh interfaith leader – Valarie Kaur

Join us for an inspiring evening of live storytelling to spark hope and action. Learn from the experiences of those who survive and resist hate, bigotry, and racism.  Storyteller Cassandra Sagan will be working with community members who are targets of “othering” because of their religion, race, class, disability, sexual orientation to polish their stories for sharing. You can share a 5-min story during the open mic segment.
