Event description
The Metroplex boasts 50+ local and craft breweries making the North Texas beer scene one of the most interesting in the country. Enjoy the best of the local beer scene with this customized tour through the Design District. The tour includes six (6) full pours of any beers of your choice with four (4) different brewery stops. This allows each attendee to enjoy the types of beer they like. Our arrangement with the breweries will gain you an inside look at some of the production areas and we often get to try some special, experimental, and limited release brews - depending on what each brewery has in production. Each tour is customized based on the beer and style preferences of our attendees, so you can rest assured that we've hand-selected the places you'll love. This event is great for novices and experts alike.
Once we've convened the group we'll go over the four tour stops and what to expect. Each participant will receive their vouchers that can be used for the beers of your choice. This will create a cash-free and tip-free experience for you, so you can focus on enjoying great beer. This allows each person to set their own pace and enjoy as much or as little of different beers and different breweries. Attendees will also be alerted on what is coming up later on the tour so you can plan ahead. We may also get to try limited release beers that you won't want to miss.
Most of this tour is on foot with transportation being provided, when necessary. The distance between each stop will not exceed a 10-minute walk and is a flat/paved surface along city streets and trails. Be sure and wear comfortable shoes.
Our journey will consist of some well-known breweries as well as some lesser-known spots. Stops may include Cidercade, Community, Noble Rey, Pegasus City, Peticolas, Outfit, Steam Theory, and Texas Ale Project.
Our stops will be in or near the Design District or Trinity Groves neighborhoods. This area is home of some of the Metroplex's best craft breweries. The route will take us by old warehouses and posh design showrooms alike. Beer has a way of bringing people together, so this tour is great if you're coming alone, with a large group, or anything in between.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Attendees must be 21 years of age, or older.
