Please join us for a fascinating introduction to this 16-lesson course that was designed by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the TM program.
What is Maharishi Yoga?
Yoga means unity. It refers to the union of individual awareness with its fundamental nature, pure consciousness, the infinite source of all creativity and intelligence. The state of Yoga is gained when the activity of the mind is completely settled, and we are established in our own nature. The classical text of Yoga describes eight “limbs” for the development of Yoga in all areas of life: mind, body, behavior, and environment.
The Transcendental Meditation technique is the means to develop all eight spheres, simultaneously, from the field of pure consciousness.

What are Maharishi Yoga Asanas, and what is Pranayama?
Maharishi Yoga Asanas are the limb for the development of Yoga that works from the level of the body, and Pranayama works from the level of breath. They are the ideal preparation for the Transcendental Meditation practice. The synergy of these three practices leads to clearer experiences of the state of Yoga.
