Event description
Brewing and Distilling is booming due to high demand for quality Scottish beers and spirits. All this growth is also leading to a boom in food waste, energy and water use.
With consumers and the Scottish Government increasingly aware of food waste’s massive contribution to climate change, we need to find new ways of reducing and reusing spent grains, pot ale and other edible by-products.
Quality, efficiency, profits and brand values are only improved when brewers and distillers care about their impact on the environment.

Brewing and Distilling Technical Drop-in Day: Waste, Water, Energy
During this event, technical experts will be available to provide free one-on-one support to SMEs in the sector.
