Nottingham City Safeguarding Adults Board are pleased to announce a free training session
Target Audience:
Health and social care staff employed in either statutory or voluntary sector settings, the police and other frontline staff who work with adults who may hoard.
The aim of the morning’s training is to help those attending better understand the issues around hoarding and how to deal with them. Included will be consideration of the reasons why people hoard, exploration of real life examples of hoarding, the benefits of multi-disciplinary working and an overview of current local arrangements in place to support people who hoard.
The session will be led by Sally Savage, the Engagement and Partnership Officer (Safeguarding, Housing and Hoarding) from Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service who leads on this issue.
