Event description
This class is designed for those with a sense of curiosity as we explore what inhabits our waterways. Join us to safely catch (and release) a variety of organisms to discover the great diversity dwelling beneath the surface. We may encounter stoneflies, crayfish, dragonfly nymphs and other fascinating creatures that you will learn to identify.
Please dress for the weather. Your boots or shoes will get wet on the waters’ edge, but open toed footwear is not permitted. Be prepared to walk about a mile or so.
This class is appropriate for those ages 8+ only. Parents must accompany children, and everyone must be registered in advance for the class.
**We will leave the Orientation Center promptly at 5:00pm and will be unable to accommodate late arrivals.
