Event description
Our 2019 Lectionary Day aims to support clergy, lay ministers (Readers, LLMs, Lay Elders etc) and anyone interested in developing their understanding of Matthew’s Gospel in preparation for the forthcoming Year C. The day will include workshops on Preaching from Matthew (led by Revd Dr John Parr), and #EverydayFaith.
The guest speaker is Dr James Carleton Paget. James Carleton Paget is Senior Lecturer in New Testament Studies in the Faculty of Divinity of the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow and Tutor of Peterhouse, and was educated at Queens' College, Cambridge. Carleton Paget is co-editor of the Journal of Ecclesiastical History.  
Drinks will be provided, please bring a paked lunch.  Tickets are £10 per person.  If you hold authorised ministry (Elder, Reader, LLM, clergy) you are antitled to claim the cost of the ticket from your CMD grant.  Please contact Lesley Steed for more details about CMD grants.
