Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training (REFRESHER)

Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training is a nonviolent crisis intervention, which is a program focusing on the safe management of disruptive and assaultive behavior.
CPI REFRESHER training is a ONE-day course designed to equip staff with an effective framework to safely manage and prevent difficult behaviors. You are eligible for refresher training if your CPI certification has not lapsed within one years’ time. Please check your BLUE CPI certification card for reference.

CLASS TIMES: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
ATTENDEES: Must be CURRENT VUSD EMPLOYEES
PARTICIPANTS MUST ATTEND THE FULL DAY OF TRAINING TO BE CERTIFIED. 
PARTICIPANTS MUST ALSO BE ABLE TO EXECUTE THE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING. If you have a temporary injury that will prevent you from performing the essential physical requirements please consider signing up for another class date.
