Event description
Participants will receive hands-on training in video production and editing by creating content for MCM’s “Let’s Talk MoCo” show. Videography instruction areas include professional cameras use, lighting, and audio. Students will shoot a field project and use Adobe Premiere Pro to complete video segments. Editing instruction areas include media management, working on a timeline, transitions, basic effects and text.
No previous television production experience needed, but this is a technical, hands-on training experience, so participants are expected to jump right in and be ready to learn!
Class Details
Class Structure: 3 videography sessions, 1 field shoot, 3 editing sessions (training labs as necessary)
Length: Tuesdays, September 17-October 22nd (6 Weeks) 6:30 - 9 PM.
Prerequisites: Orientation ($10)                        MCM Members with Annual User Fee Paid (***** $40, Senior $30)
Successful completion of this course will certify each student as a Field Production Technician & Adobe Premiere Editor at Montgomery Community Media.
