Event description
Learning Together for Patient Care
The Academy of Medical Educators' 2020 Spring Academic Meeting takes place at The Albert Hall in Nottingham on Wednesday 29 April.
Across the healthcare professions, high quality patient care requires teams that work together. Increasingly, professionals recognise that to do this effectively, they must also learn together. Interprofessional learning is enshrined in the values of the NHS, HEE, GDC, RCVS, and many other healthcare organisations. Professional regulators now recognise and expect that it is a part of healthcare professionals’ training. However, as the culture of collaborative learning develops, questions remain: How do we learn together for patient care? What does good practice look like, and how are we sharing that good practice?
The Academy of Medical Educators’ one-day conference gives teachers in medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, and other health professions a platform to explore learning together for patient care.
The Spring meeting is one of the best opportunities for educators across the health professions to come together to share good practice and the latest innovations in healthcare education, as well as for networking, academic collaboration, and professional development. The conference will feature keynote speakers, workshops, short presentations and posters.

Abstracts are now invited for submission, please visit our website for further information. Abstract deadline is 5pm 6 November 2019.

Refund policy: AoME will refund tickets in full up to 5pm on 28 March 2020.  From 5pm 28 March 2020 to 5pm 15 April 2020 we will refund 50% of the ticket cost.  No refunds are possibly after 5pm (GMT) on 15 April 2020.
