Handmade Pasta "Fatta a Mano"!
This hands-on pasta workshop will be focused on Orecchiette, a shape with origins in Puglia, Italy.
At the workshop, Chef Chris will show you how to make the pasta from start to finish; including suggestions for selecting the ideal ingredients; how to form and knead the dough; and show you a few different versions of Orecchiette!
Each participant will have the chance to prepare the dough from scratch and learn how to craft the pasta. After the hands-on lesson is complete, Chef Chris will share some cooking suggestions and prepare the pasta with a seasonal sauce for the participants to taste and enjoy.
The event will take place at Della Terra's Pasta Studio, which provides a socially interactive experience for a small group of participants.  
Useful Info
Parking + beverages + hearty Italian style snacks are provided.
There are aprons available to use since there is flour and water involved!
More about Chef Chris
Chef Chris relocated to Oklahoma City after working at several highly acclaimed New York City restaurants. During his time in NYC he began his training at Lupa, a Roman style Trattoria; moved on to become a cook at Le Bernardin, a world renowned seafood restaurant; at The Modern located in the Museum of Modern Arts he became a chef di partie; and finally at Del Posto, the Chef of Pasta, where all things pasta was his singular focus. In OKC he created Della Terra.
