9th Annual Advocates and Allies Training: "A Look at 21st Century Domestic Violence: Elder Abuse and Non-Intimate Partner Violence."
This year's training will focus on some of the ways that domestic violence occurrs outside of intimate-partner relationships. The two speakers and topics will be:
"Elder Abuse" - William Lightfoot, CEO and Principal of Lightfoot Consulting Associates
"Building Thriving Communities: Creating Primary Prevention Programs and Promoting Protective Factors in a Community" - Ruth G. Micklem, Community Initiatives Manager, Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance
This presentation will focus on the basics of primary prevention and how communities can work together to create lasting change in their efforts to stop violence before it begins.

Registration is from 8:00AM to 9:00AM. The training will start at 9:00AM.
What should I park?
There is ample parking next to and across from the church.
