The purpose of the Safe Space Summit: Empowerment Strategies for Minority Professionals is to create a learning community pairing successful and proven minority leaders with minority professionals who are seeking ways to thrive in their career despite challenges and barriers that may be present in their workplaces due to racial or ethnic disparities.

ü  Morning and afternoon keynote speakers (Honorable Judge G. Gaither, Marion County Juvenile Court and Angela Green, Regional Administrator for Administration for Children and Families Region 5 and Region 7
ü  Small group coaching rounds on various topics (Dr. Milton Armston, Healthcare Practitioner, Mittie Brown, CEO/Founder of Hairston Brown Financial and Insurance Services, Tolvi Patterson, Mentor/Job Coach, Leeta Bigbee, Retired EOE Expert)
ü  Jamal Talks (A spinoff of Ted Talks) short inspirational lessons geared toward minority experiences
