Event description
Open Mic Innovation Night is one of our new Flag-Ship programmes. We ask innovators – individuals, entrepreneurs, R&D or prototyping labs, or other, to present to a panel how their innovation transforms our world to the better. Focus areas include the United Nations 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) to transform our world.
After each open mic innovation presentation, a panel will comment on the innovations as critical friends, and finally, the winners are voted in by the audience (as judges and jury) who are the viewers.
GOAL 1: No PovertyGOAL 2: Zero HungerGOAL 3: Good Health and Well-beingGOAL 4: Quality EducationGOAL 5: Gender EqualityGOAL 6: Clean Water and SanitationGOAL 7: Affordable and Clean EnergyGOAL 8: Decent Work and Economic GrowthGOAL 9: Industry, Innovation and InfrastructureGOAL 10: Reduced InequalityGOAL 11: Sustainable Cities and CommunitiesGOAL 12: Responsible Consumption and ProductionGOAL 13: Climate ActionGOAL 14: Life Below WaterGOAL 15: Life on LandGOAL 16: Peace and Justice Strong Institutions GOAL 17: Partnerships to Achieve the Goal
There are planned three rounds of 4 events annually, starting in 2020 (September, October, November, December). After this, the winner will receive the THINK BIG award at an exciting celebration event in the following January.
