About the Hosts:
Shamontiel L. Vaughn (front center, in pink, above) is a full-time, freelance editor/writer with 13 years of journalism experience (Chicago Defender, Chicago Tribune, CBS Chicago, Yahoo! Contributor Network, Sun-Times Network) and dabbled in PR/marketing. The Chicago native spent two years in brutally cold Marquette, Michigan and graduated from her slightly warmer alma mater Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri before deciding Chicago was her permanent home. When she's not doing pilates and yoga, she's the Vice President of Education for Unity Toastmasters. She competed at the division level for the 2018 International Speaking Competition of Toastmasters and talked about one of her favorite subjects: the Harlem Renaissance.

Jeanne Lambin (front center, in black, above) is a coach, facilitator, writer, storyteller, and award-winning, educator. Jeanne helps individuals, groups, and organizations find and tell better stories about the past, the present, and the future. She believes whole-hardheartedly in the history and power of improv and storytelling as tools for social change. She is the co-founder of Improv for Humanity and the creator of The Quest: Improv for Transformation. She has told stories, taught workshops, and done improv in all sorts of places, some sanctioned, some not. She has been lucky enough to do some of that work in other countries. She recently moved back to Chicago after being away for sixteen years and is now living in the house that she grew up in, a house that has been in her family for 90 years. She is a fifth generation Chicagoan, finds the communication network of mushrooms fascinating, and doesn't like green peppers on pizza.
