Dr John Taylor will explore how to use EPQ as the cornerstone for developing independent learners. The seminar will explore guidance about successful EPQ mentoring as well as how to implement EPQ style teaching and learning in other subject settings.

About John Taylor
Dr John Taylor is Director of Learning, Teaching and Innovation at Cranleigh School, with responsibility for the development of independent learning across the three schools in the Cranleigh family. He also teaches Physics and is a trained philosopher and physicist.
Dr Taylor works closely with staff, providing professional development opportunities and organising and leading CPD in areas connected to independent learning. Dr Taylor is one of the principal architects of the Extended Project Qualification and other project-based qualifications in the UK. His work developing philosophical inquiry in the classroom is shaping the way Cranleigh approaches teaching and learning.
