Event description

Join us in Cambridge to consider how your museum can repsond to Climate Change
The morning will be lead by Henry McGhie:
162 ways to address climate change
There are an estimated 55,000 museums around the world, representing a huge potential to shape the future. 162 of those are in the East of England, coming in a wide range of shapes and sizes, and addressing a wide range of topics. This presentation will explore how these museums can articulate, amplify and accelerate their individual and collective contributions to climate empowerment and action.
The talk will be followed by a workshop where participants will explore 'their place' in the Sustainable Development Goals, which can be used as a blueprint for climate action across the full range of museum functions, and across all museums.
More details about the contibutors and activities in afternoon session will follow
