ABOUT THE TEACHER

Elizabeth “Helvi” Brauer CEO/FOUNDER/CHIEF MAKER-BAKER enjoys contributing to the MN Nordic community through participation in various Nordic-American organizations. These include Suomi-Koulu (Finnish Language School of MN), FinnSource, ASI's Cloudberries Swedish Women's Choir, Kalevan Naiset of Duluth, Finnish-American Cultural Association of MN, Norway House programming and 612 Sauna Society. She is a fluent speaker and teacher of Finnish, proficient in Swedish, and has even studied Northern Sámi while at the University of Oulu.
